Sygma Environmental played a crucial role in the construction of the Aviation Campus situated in Camden, Couva. This ambitious project encompassed the construction of teaching facilities and an aircraft hangar, emphasizing the need for stringent HSE considerations.
Our team initiated the project by reviewing the Contractor’s HSE Manual and procedures. This thorough examination aimed to assess the fulfillment of requirements outlined in the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Act 2004.
Conducting comprehensive site inspections, we evaluated compliance with the procedures and guidelines specified in the Contractor HSE Manual. Our on-site assessments also ensured alignment with the requirements of the OSH Act.
In addition to health and safety aspects, we reviewed potential environmental considerations associated with the construction of the Aviation Campus.Our team formulated a detailed report highlighting findings and gaps between existing conditions, the HSE Manual, and the OSH Act. This report provided valuable recommendations to ensure the closure of identified gaps and achieve comprehensive compliance.
To maintain a proactive approach, Sygma Environmental conducted bi-monthly site inspections and audits. This consistent oversight aimed to continually assess and enhance compliance with established procedures, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
