Noise monitoring

We can monitor the noise in or around your facility or of a specific activity to determine the impact on the neighbouring environment or within the facility itself. This is also a requirement of the Environmental Management Authority (EMA) Noise Pollution Control Rules 2001 (NPCR).

As such, we can conduct:

• Environmental noise monitoring where we determine your facilities contribution to the sound levels of the surrounding area. This is usually done at the fence line of your facility
• Occupational noise monitoring where the noise levels to which an employee or employees is exposed in their location at the workplace

In addition we can conduct Noise Dosimetry Measurements where an employee’s specific dose exposure to noise throughout their workday can be determined.
